You Need A Good Laugh October 7, 2010
Posted by Emily in : Daily Life, Thoughts , 2commentsOK, I couldn’t stop laughing when a friend emailed this to me:

Dear Mrs. Jones,
I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer. I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out of every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn’t show me dancing around a pole. It’s supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot. From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Smith
Not sure if it’s real, but it’s hilarious anyway!
Also, I came across this video and couldn’t stop smiling. Why is that grown men singing songs from eccentric female artists are so great?
ENJOY!
Andrea’s Shoot! October 6, 2010
Posted by Emily in : Friends, Photography , 1 comment so farDid you see? Check out the shoot I did with my friend Andrea on my Salt Lake Photography blog!
She contacted me months ago to schedule this shoot . . .
Flying to Utah from Dallas, Texas was a gift from her husband.

Doesn’t she look great? She had four kids in five years (Yes! EEK! Do the math on that one!) and still has TONS of energy! We have not seen each other in five years, so we did a lot more talking than photographing!

How flattered was I to make her gift wish list?!
Check out the shoot with bigger and better images here.

Texas Beauty October 1, 2010
Posted by Emily in : Photography , 1 comment so farHi everyone!
My friend Andrea just flew in from Texas for a fun shoot with me this weekend!
We just finished part one of a two part shoot last night, and today we are headed out to the Salt Flats!

The last time I saw Andrea was five years ago when we lived in Texas before I moved to the Caribbean.
As you can imagine, we have a lot of catching up to do!
See you next week! Happy weekend!
