Oh How I Love Thee February 2, 2010

Posted by Emily in : Little Man Dallin, Parenthood, Princess Hannah, Trips , trackback

We are back from our little getaway from this weekend.

It was so nice to have a weekend away.

I’ll post about our trip later, but for now, I thought I’d mention how much I missed my little kidlets.

I mean, I really missed them.

Hannah missed me a lot too.

Dallin on the other hand . . .

Was so busy and important playing with his toys, he didn’t have time to miss me!

Look at Dallin’s cheeks!  Do you blame me for missing them?

I also missed kissing his fat little toes!

And LOOK AT THIS FACE!

I can’t help it.  I missed him.  LOTS.

And you know what?  The second I walked in the door he realized I’d been gone and suddenly it hit him, “Oh, that’s what was missing over the last few days . . . MY MOMMY!”

Very sweet.

When I saw Collin after being away for two and half days, he looked at me, and turned away and buried his head into Mike’s shoulder! So much for thinking he missed me tons and tons! Although all he did was say “Momma” all weekend!

Ok, two things, One – “kidlets” – I used to call mine that very same thing! (Not so apropos anymore now that they’re all taller than me) Great word! And, B, did Dallin say “Mommy” when he saw you????????? I hope??????

Um . . . no. Dallin saw me and gave me the look of, “Oh! There you are! I thought something wasn’t the same this weekend!” and then ran over to David exclaiming his undying love for his daddy, “Daddy!”

Awesome.

Do you think now is a good time to remind him about that c-section I had to deliver him?

Not feelin’ the love!

I do believe that is the first time I have ever seen anything other than his usual expression on his face. He’s so adorable with that goofy grin!
