Do you see something missing from this list? Anything? Does one particular word come to mind that should me on there?
Like the word, MOMMY? HELLO?

I guess there is no need to learn how to call out for me when he is always attached to my hip or within my sight.
However . . .
I’m very happy to report that he just learned to say “Mama.”
Big deal if “Daddy” was his first word and “Mama” was his 27th word.
It’s no big deal, right? I shouldn’t be sore about this? RIGHT?
It’s totally normal for a baby to say every member’s name in the family before they say “Mama!” right?
HELP ME OUT HERE!

I love that he says “What do you think?” and “Taxi”
Frankly, there are some days when I wish that my kids would have never learned to call for me!
Oh, no! I’m sure that only means he doesn’t love you as much. No big deal.
Emily, I am sending out a “pity pat” to your back!!! I am going to try and think of something, anything comforting…. Come on Cathy, you can do it… Just one thing…. ummm… ummm… okay I got it “Dallin” was my “129,332nd” word!!! So does that make you feel any better??? We miss you guys and hope everyone is doing great!
Hmm, I guess now wouldn’t be the time to mention that “Mama” was Rachel’s first word? No, probably not.
Unfortunately, her list of words is much shorter even if it IS topped with my favorite. I think I could name them all on one hand. Let’s see… mama, I want that (a favorite of her’s), yes, and daddy (she had it and then lost it for months and just barely got it back). I suspect that she’ll be talking alot more soon, and then she’ll never be quiet.
It’s really fun communicating with her because she is so opinionated. If you ask her a question, she will either vigorously nod her head yes, or do nothing, which of course means no. I’m actually surprised at how well she can make herself understood with this, combined with her VERY vigorous “I want THAT!” I’ve considered teaching her baby sign language, but her method seems to be easier at the moment.
I miss you!
I saw this and thought it might be something for you if you start taking more pics of babies!
I think those pics are darling!!

Maybe you are talented enough to make one yourself!
By the way, I wanted to mention that Rachel added another word to her list today…. poo-poo. Nice, huh? *sigh* I hope she learns some useful words soon.
I MISS YOU!!!
