I agree – let little girls be little girls. Play dress up, but don’t live dress up. I guess I’m glad I don’t have the curse of fame to deal with…

Cute pictures, though the one with the red coat and green purse was a bit disturbing. In my personal opinion, girls should be encouraged to be LITTLE girls for as long as possible. Wear skirts, fine, but wear tennis shoes sometimes too, play in the dirt, cradle a doll in your arms, act like a LITTLE GIRL for goodness sake! I find it very disturbing that our culture is encouraging girls to grow up so fast. What happened to childhood innocence? Okay, rant’s over….. for now!

Yeah what bothers me more, is seeing pictures of her without proper clothes on like a coat or warmer clothes when her mom with her is all bundled up??? What gives?

I hear you! I saw it standing in the checkout and thought the same thing! Looks like she rules the roost…. no coat and shoes like that ALL the time! The one with the purse, walking down the street is a little much for me!

I read that Katie said that Suri chooses her own clothing and insists on wearing heels. I don’t know how much choice a three year old should be given regarding appropriate clothing.

I’m sure Claire would wear heels all the time if I let her.

I’m not as concerned about her heels as I am about all the pictures I see of her without a coat on when all around her, adults are bundled up against the cold….

Here is the thing, I am not against dressing the girls up cute once in a great while. I mean, what little girls don’t love love love a cute Nordstrom dress and cute shoes to match? Or cute little leggins with a skirt and ugg boots? But come on! This is just sad!!
