When God closes one door . . .

_dsc7348-edited-1

He opens another.

After much fasting, prayer, and pleading with the Lord, God has provided us a way to stay together as a family through this messy rotation thing.

Really, that was all we wanted.  We just wanted to stay together as a family.

Turns out, we will be able to spend the majority of the next seven months together.  We will also be surrounded by lots of family in Utah which is a rare treat for us.

It puts a smile on my face to sit back and watch the Lord move mountains.

He really does know each of us.

He really does care about each of us and our desires.  Regardless of how silly or small they may be.

Sometimes we just have to sit back and put everything in His hands and it works out!! I have this problem, I always want to be in control and sometimes we just shouldnt be in control so that He can work miracles!!

I am glad everything is falling into place and that you guys have a plan! I know moving sucks, I have only moved once (I was too young the first time to remember) and I have promised my self to NEVER move again. Well I will have to move in a year. But I still cant imagine making it my hobby!!

Have a great rest of the week!!

So happy for you & your family. Your post was a good reminder to me to let God move the mountains–my arms are getting pretty tired.

I’m so happy for you. Let me know what happens with the house thing. I have to say that I’m relieved we aren’t moving, though we had to work through lots of pros and cons to both sides before making our decision. It wasn’t an easy one. Your house is so cute, and I doubt you’ll have trouble getting it rented.

That’s wonderful news! Thank you for reminder–God is so aware.
