Happy 3rd birthday!
You have one darling little backside.
And you’re getting a great start mastering the art of self-portraits. (This photo was actually taken by you. Do you see the remote in your hand?)
You know how to work the camera already . . . (HEAVEN HELP US!)
And you tolerate Dallin pretty well even when he squeezes the life out of your shirt.
You’re my little clone in both looks and speech (I looked just like you at this age).
And we have LOVED having you in our family! (We took these pictures while daddy was at work, so we missed him!)
You have taught us very valuable lessons, such as:
- You greet anyone and everyone and immediately ask them their name.
- After asking for their name, you ask them if they’re nice. No sense wasting time trying to figure out if they’re nice or not.
- Scrubs are also known as “Purple Work Pajamas.”
- If something is “very glass” that means it’s fragile.
- Everything in your wardrobe matches. EVERYTHING. Red, pink, blue, it all goes together.
- You remind us all the time that you’re “just a little girl.” You get away with a lot of stuff with this phrase.
- Small trash bags are called “wrappers.”
- “Yesterday” refers to anytime in the past. So, if I ask you if you were born yesterday, you would say YES!
- It does not bother you when toys are strewn all about your bedroom and the toy room. You don’t know why it bothers me.
Happy third birthday! WE LOVE YOU!
