What I Serve My Guests for Breakfast June 8, 2009
Posted by Emily in : Birthday, Family, Kansas , trackbackMy niece, Betsy, celebrated her 17th birthday at our house this week.
Hannah is all about birthdays. (What two-year-old isn’t into cake, candles, presents, and chocolate?)

This is what we ate for breakfast on Betsy’s birthday.
Really.

No one complained.
It was delicious. All 467 calories per bite.

In fact, I’m positive this was the favorite breakfast my sister’s family ate while visiting.

Because they didn’t smile like this when I served cold cereal and oatmeal!

Delicious! I am all about ice cream for breakfast.
First off, that cake is gorgeous in a really high calorie way. Second, tell your sis that I love Betsy’s name. It’s on my shortest list of girl’s names when we get around to #4 (no, this is not an announcement).
The cake looks so YUMMY!!
Hey, I think I recognize the stand that cake is on (wink, wink)
Have a wonderful week.
It was wonderful to hear your voice the other evening…..smile:)
Wait . . . are you saying there’s something weird about cake for breakfast? I don’t get it.
What a fun cakes and pictures! I love how you can tell Hannah is so supremely interested in what is going on.
