If I Were in Charge April 24, 2009
Posted by Emily in : Daily Life, Exercise , trackbackOnce, when I was working out with Denise Austin, (on TV of course, I don’t actually know her) she said, “You can’t store fitness, you only store fat!” David and I started P90X again tonight, and honestly, I worked out enough for like seven days. But, apparently, that’s not how this fitness thing works. Well, fitness with results anyway.

It’s kind of depressing to think about all the things we do daily that we have to do again, and again, and again.
Honestly.
I just want to say, “Hey, I worked out once like five years ago. Don’t bother me about it again!”
So, if I were in charge, I’d make the following permanent changes: (And please, don’t over analyze this, you critical thinkers. I don’t want lots of emails telling me how this would NEVER work because the world would self-destruct or something.)
- Moms would NEVER, EVER, EVER get sick.
- Fitness could be stored. No more of this working out day after day, after day.
- You could store sleep.
- Dinner would magically make itself.
- When you cleaned the house, it stayed that way. FOREVER.
- Once you shaved your legs, they never needed to be shaved again.
- Taxes only happened once a lifetime.
- That no matter what, I’d always have more Facebook friends than David. Always.
This would make my life 1000% easier.

Sorry, babe. I’m just a popular kind of guy.
I own a couple of Denise Austin’s DVDs, and she is sort of crazy.
“Little swimmies” is what she says.
AMEN!!!!!!
ABSOLUTELY!!! I’ll go with all that. No hate mail from me.
Amen Sista! You can count on me to NOT over-analyze anything!!!
would it help if i “un-friended” david from facebook?
Pam, you’re such a thinker! Unfortunately, I think I would need 50 people to do that to make a difference!
I’m going to second, third, fourth, and hundreth housecleaning and leg shaving.
arent those DVDs great! Jonathan wont do them with me…so we are up in my parents work out room and I have them on doing them and hes got his own routine going…he refuses. But man that p90x stuff works!!!
