I Am Not Ashamed January 17, 2009
Posted by Emily in : Daily Life, My Handsome Husband, Thoughts , 3commentsTonight, I got caught reading all the confessions comments on the latest post on Pulsipher Predilections. This post is about confessing secrets, and boy, once you start reading people’s secrets, you can’t stop!
This post made me think. First, I don’t really have any juicy secrets. Second, my life is very calm (some may say boring) and I am TOTALLY fine with that. Third, I do have a few secrets I’m willing to share:
- I started shaving my legs in fourth grade, and I have never looked back.
- I have three active driver’s licenses. One for Utah, Texas, and the Netherlands Antilles (is this legal?)
- I enjoy reading trash mags. It makes me feel like my life is blessed. No Jerry Springer material at our house!
- I think my husband is super handsome. And sometimes when we have a heated discussion, I get distracted discussing the issue at hand because it’s hard for me to concentrate when all I can think about is how cute he is!
- I was pleasantly surprised with how much I loved motherhood.
- I have been a Leann Rimes fan since her first album debuted in 1996 when she was only 13.
- I’m obsessed with tweezing my eyebrows. I check them daily.
- I hate hair touching my face.
- I wish I could pull off a pixie cut. I hate doing my hair.
- Unless I’m going somewhere, getting ready (like taking a shower and putting on make-up) is a waste of time.
- I like to hang out in lounge wear all day. It doesn’t bother me (or my husband) if our kids hang out in their pajamas all day too.
- 18 months ago, I didn’t know how to get pictures off my SD card onto my laptop.
Phew. That feels better.
