We’ve Been Very Good This Year December 30, 2008

We’ve been good this year.

Very good.

David and I didn’t care that we opened up a whole lotta nothin’ on Christmas morning . . . we knew our Christmas gift was coming soon . . .

(BTW, it’s really nice when you and your spouse want the EXACT SAME thing for Christmas.  Especially when you can share the gift.  It’s like your budget just doubled!)

After much research, discussion, and deliberation, we decided on the Nikon D90.

I’ve talked about my obsession with this sexy camera here, here, here , here, here, here, and here. We love that it’s 12.3 megapixels and has a high def video feature.  There are many, many, reasons why we chose this SLR, but we came very close to buying the  Cannon EOS XSi.  Now, I can take another snotty nosed picture of Hannah (she is still producing enough snot for a small village) and have it blown up life size and not loose one detail.  Just for fun.nikon-back

YEA!!!! I was hoping you had been a good girl and that Santa had granted you your wish list!! Guess what? I too had been wanting to buy a digital camera but didn’t think I would be getting one for awhile! BUT… santa did some research and brought me the SAME camera! We will have to share tips! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Wow, I must admit I am a little jealous. But, I would really be in over my head with that camera! Can’t wait to see pictures from it!

I love the camara….looks like youve gotten to use it a bit too! I bet your excited to be leaving for kansas soon…I can imagine not having your own space has been hard.

I got Kenny a D-40 for Christmas and he’s going nuts for it. It’s gone everywhere with us for a week now. My SIL has a D-90 and she loves it, but she’s a pro. Kenny’s just does it for fun so the the D-40 makes him happy right now, but I have a feeling I’ll have to upgrade in a couple of years for him. Sigh.
